This page explains what data SimplyNoise, operated by Reactor LLC, holds about you, and how to have it deleted. It supplements our Privacy Policy.

TL;DR: SimplyNoise has no accounts. If you send feedback, we receive your name and optional email address. The only records tied to your app are purchase records and anonymous diagnostics, keyed to a random identifier generated on your device. In the iOS and Android apps you can delete current-version purchase records from Settings → Legal → Delete My Data. For purchase records from older app versions, use the email route below. Feedback email is separate and can be deleted by contacting us. On the website, email us and we will do it for you. Deleting your data never costs you a purchase.

1. What we hold

SimplyNoise has no sign-in, no user accounts, and no password. There is no account profile in our systems. Feedback email may contain the name and optional email address you choose to provide. Your payment is handled by Apple or Google, and we never see the card details.

When the app first runs it generates a random identifier and stores it on your device. It is not your device's ID, not an advertising ID, and it is not shared with anyone. Two kinds of record can be associated with it:

• Purchase records. Which soundscapes you own, on which platform, and when. Store purchase tokens are stored only as an irreversible cryptographic hash, never in their original form. We keep these so a purchase can be verified and restored, and so a refund can be honoured.
• Anonymous diagnostics. Crash reports and minimal usage events, used to find and fix bugs. These are optional and can be switched off at any time in Settings → Diagnostics. Turning that switch off stops the collection.

We do not use advertising identifiers, we do not sell or share data with data brokers, and we do not use your data for advertising.

2. Deleting your data in the app

On iOS and Android, go to Settings → Legal → Delete My Data.

Scroll to the Delete My Data button at the end of this page. Tap it once, then tap again to confirm. This immediately and permanently erases the purchase records and entitlements associated with the current authenticated installation and resets its diagnostics identity. Purchase records created by older app versions use a separate identifier and require the email route below. The random identifier on your device is discarded at the same time, so nothing that comes afterwards can be connected to anything that came before.

Every soundscape on the website at simplynoise.com is free, so the site has no settings menu, no purchases, and no in-app control to reach. If you have only used the website, use the email route below.

Feedback email is separate from the app installation identifier and is not removed by this control. To delete a feedback message, use the email route below.

3. Deleting your data by email

Email admin@reactorllc.com with the subject Data Deletion Request. We will delete your records and confirm by reply. We respond within 30 days, and normally much sooner. Use this route if you have only used the website, or if you cannot reach the in-app control, for example because you have already uninstalled the app.

Unless you sent feedback, we cannot look you up by name or email. If you still have the app installed, the in-app control is both faster and more reliable. If you have uninstalled it, include your platform (iOS or Android) and the approximate date and store order number of any purchase, so we can locate the matching record.

4. What deletion does not affect

Your purchases are safe. Ownership of anything you bought is held by the App Store or Google Play, not by us. Our records are only a verification copy. After deleting your data you can tap Restore Purchases in Settings and everything you own will be unlocked again.

Deleting your data does not cancel a subscription or trigger a refund; those are handled by Apple and Google. It also does not remove anything already contained in an anonymous, aggregated statistic that can no longer be linked back to you.

Records that we are required to keep for tax or accounting purposes are held by the app stores as the merchant of record, not by us.
